On the early morning of April 9, Fishers Police Dept. responded to the Sweet Briar North Neighborhood Park, at 131st Street and Sweet Briar Parkway, after receiving a 911 call about a possible fight in progress. Officers arrived at the scene and made contact with two individuals. One of the individuals, a juvenile was transported to Community North Hospital for a non-life threatening stab wound. The second individual was treated at the scene and released.
The victim was later able to identify the individual who allegedly stabbed him. The suspect, also a juvenile, was located and taken into custody. The suspect was later transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center. The investigation remains open and it is possible additional charges may be filed.
