Robert Dale “Bob” Collins, 82, of Westfield died March 29, 2015. Born June 21, 1932 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Jesse and Hilda Pitts Collins.
He was a 1951 graduate of Westfield High School. In his early years, he farmed with his dad. He also liked working on cars, so he began restoring old cars and it became quite a hobby. He enjoyed the outdoors and kept busy mowing and trimming lawns.
He was a school bus driver for Westfield Schools for eight years, Noblesville Schools for two years and Carmel Clay Schools for 39 years. He also was a Charter Bus driver. He served his country in the Army National Guard for six years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Revis Collins; sister-in-law, Rozella Heinzemann; brother-in law, Mike Heinzemann; and many friends.
