The St.Vincent Carmel Women’s Center will officially open to the public on Saturday, March 14, with a Grand Opening Celebration from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The St.Vincent Carmel Women’s Center, a member of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and not-for-profit health system, will focus on gender-based medicine specifically designed to address disorders that are unique and predominant in women, or that have a different disease course for women.

The women’s center will include obstetrics and gynecology; maternal fetal medicine; breast care, including mammography and ultrasound services; physical therapy; pelvic health; bone health; preventive well health services; cardiology; concierge patient and billing navigation; a community room for wellness programs like cooking and fitness classes; a full-service café; chapel; and a women’s health boutique that provides durable medical equipment like wigs and bras for breast cancer survivors, bariatric supplies and more.

Patients will benefit from a clinically-integrated care delivery model across all care providers within the St.Vincent Carmel Women’s Center. The new outpatient facility will feature a highly integrated electronic medical records system to enhance patient care and facilitate seamless referrals between physicians and other providers within the center. Having multiple specialists providing high-quality, focused care for women on a single day in one location improves care delivery and creates unprecedented clinical integration. The St.Vincent Carmel Women’s Center will host a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The community is invited to go on guided tours of the new facility, partake in free clinical screenings and exams, ask women’s health questions to a panel of St.Vincent physicians, participate in free baby boot camp and stroller fitness classes by Kara Babcock, and attend a free keynote presentation and book signing by guest speaker Rachel Stafford, author of Hands Free Mama.
