Zionsville Community High School show choirs earn top honors

The Royalaires and Choralaires, show choirs from Zionsville Community High School, were both named Grand Champions on Feb. 28 at the Franklin Central Hoosier Show Choir Classic, which featured choirs from Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. The Royalaires won the mixed division and received honors for Best Vocals and Best Costumes, while the Choralaires earned top honors in the women’s division and swept the podium with Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Combo and Best Costumes. Megan Tiller was the top performer from the Royalaires, and Madie Durham was selected as top performer for the Choralaires. The choirs’ next competitions are March 7 at North Central High School and March 14 at Lafayette Jefferson High School. For more information, visit www.zchoirs.com.
