On Mar. 5, the Fishers Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Health, Wellness and Fitness Fair at the Forum Conference Center at 11313 USA Parkway. Presented by St. Vincent, over 60 businesses will display their products and services focused on improving the lives of community members.

“It’s always fun to see the new trends in the health and fitness industry. I think it is also a great opportunity for our company to network with other vendors to further provide a better service for our members,” said Chris Jordan, general manager of Title Boxing Club in Fishers.

Health coach Julie Viellieu participated in the fair last year and looks forward to repeating her success this year. “The health fair is a great tool for me to talk about incorporating lifestyle shifts to people who wouldn’t make an appointment to talk about their own health,” said Viellieu.

The goal of the event is to bring together Fishers Chamber of Commerce members from many professions including medical, dental, fitness, retirement, insurance, retail and several food establishments with members of the community so that the public can see what health and wellness options are available to them in Fishers.

“This is a great opportunity for members of the general public to learn what is new in the health and wellness field and for the businesses to meet potential patients and clients,” said Carol Doehrman, vice president of operations for the Fishers Chamber of Commerce.

“The health wellness and fitness fair is an ideal fit for us. We will be there as partners in health with key fitness leaders from Fishers like the YMCA and health care providers,” said Jay Miller, owner of Endurance House in Fishers. “It is an ideal opportunity to share our passion for active living with people in the Fishers area who are just getting started as well as with endurance enthusiasts. Endurance House’s goal is to help people redefine their possible, and the wellness fair brings us closer to achieving our goal.”

Hours for the fair are 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and there is no cost to attend.
