After months of anticipation, here’s one review I’ve been dying to write. Let me start by saying Rosie’s Place of Zionsville does not disappoint. The cafe and bakery, first founded in Noblesville, gets a five-star rating in my book.

My husband and I ventured out for a mid-morning breakfast, with our two year-old in tow. (Yes, it was a brave move on our part. She only tried to break down 10 times, and we were able to leave without any broken glasses. Hallelujah!)

From the moment we walked in the glass doors of the new venue, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Jack was our waiter, and he was very personable and helpful when navigating the menu.

We ordered a couple of dishes, including the Rosie’s Style breakfast (eggs, toast, pancake, country potatoes and bacon for under $10!), and a stack of the Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes (three for $7 and change), and of course coffees (because we can’t function through a workday without that). For the kid, we ordered sliced apples and toast, which she devoured.

The price is just right at Rosie’s Place, and you get a ton of darn-good food for your money. The coffee was a personal favorite of ours, and we found out we can buy it by the pound to take home. The pancakes were also on-point and reminded me of a favorite breakfast joint from my IU days in Bloomington, Village Deli.

Soon, the restaurant will even feature locally made Sage’s Simple Syrups to flavor coffees.

I will certainly be back soon to taste some of the Rosie’s Place lunch items, but as for breakfast, it was really perfect.

Thanks for coming to Main Street, Rosie’s Place.
