More than 315 girls and their fathers attended St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church’s 14th annual Daddy/Daughter Dance. Officials said the citywide event had girls from across Westfield spending a magical “Frozen” evening with their dads – even Elsa and Olaf stopped by. Proceeds from the dance support the SMG sports ministry. The ministry has more than 1,000 registrants each year in more than 10 in-house and CYO sports. Money raised helps fund the growth of new and existing programs, new uniforms and angel dollars that cover registration fees for those in need.
