Psychology

Zionsville resident, Dr. Charles Goodlett, a professor of Psychology at IUPUI, visited ZCHS with students from his “Capstone Class in Neuroscience.” They presented an interactive learning module to students in Ms. Harmon’s Psychology class. These students were able to examine a human autopsy brain as they reviewed concepts related to this year’s neuroscience unit. (Submitted photos)

12 days

On November 24th, Student Council began their annual 12 Days of Giving.  All ZCHS clubs were invited to set out a box in the high school commons to collect needed items such as shampoos, toothbrushes, and soaps to donate to The Caring Center in Lebanon.  Students who make a donation will be entered in a raffle, and the winner will receive a pizza to share with their friends at lunch.

Blood Drive

On December 2nd, ZCHS’ Key Club sponsored their annual blood drive in which students, faculty and staff could volunteer to be donors.  Each unit of blood that is collected is able to save three lives. Through the help from the Indiana Blood Center, ZCHS collected enough blood to save 186 lives.
