The Indiana chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America held an organizational meeting in Carmel on Nov. 17 for Hamilton and Boone counties.
Moms and other interested citizens met at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church.
“It’s exciting to see such a great turnout for our first meeting of the Hamilton/Boone County Group,” Indiana Chapter Leader Nicki McNally said. “Moms Demand Action began with one concerned mother and has grown to hundreds of thousands of members across the country, advocating for stronger, safer, gun laws in our nation.”
The group will hold their next meeting at noon on Dec. 15 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church. More information about Moms Demand Action is available at momsdemandaction.org or at www.facebook.com/MomsDemandActionIN.
