Since last Tuesday the Fishers Police Department (Indiana) has responded to two reports of a suspicious person dressed as a clown.

The first report was made on October 14th. A resident of the Saxony Neighborhood reported a suspicious man, dressed as a clown, was aggressively approaching people and causing concern. The second sighting was report last night. A resident reported seeing a suspicious person, in a clown suit, near the Jack’s Donut Shop near 131st and Olio Road. The resident told officers the clown was walking up to people and “creeping them out”. The location of the second sighting is very near the first.

On both occasions police responded to the area and searched for the suspicious person. Unfortunately, there was a 30 minute time delay in the second report which significantly hinder the officers ability to locate the person. The police department strongly encourages residents to immediately call 911 anytime they observe suspicious people or activity.

Regarding this incident, officers are conducting extra patrols in the area of these sightings.
