Eleven Fifty, an immersive training program teaching web and app development and Indiana’s first and only coding bootcamp, in Carmel, , has partnered with Six Feet Up, a company that hires experts in Python development, to offer an immersive one-week course about Python, Django, and microframeworks.
The first Python course offering will start Dec. 1 and will run through Dec. 5, with additional classes slated for 2015.
All of Eleven Fifty’s courses have a project-centric approach, focusing on mobile and web apps that students will build themselves, including apps similar to Tinder, Snapchat, Evernote, and others. The thoughtfully sequenced coursework and “hands in the code the whole time” methodologies are designed to enable students of all experience levels to learn important skills fast.
The instructors for the Python courses will be Calvin Hendryx-Parker, co-Founder and CTO of Six Feet Up and Clayton Parker, Director of Engineering of Six Feet Up. Both are highly regarded among the national Python community and are frequent speakers at regional and national Python conferences. They also serve as founders and organizers of the IndyPy Meetup group and Pythology training series in Indianapolis.
