William “Bill” C. Holloway, 92, of Noblesville, died Oct. 12, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. Born Feb. 25, 1922 in Noblesville, he was the son of Floyd and Ivy (Snyder) Holloway.

He retired from Delco Remy after 41 years, and had also enjoyed being a farmer in the Hamilton and Madison county area. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran, receiving a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service. He attended White River Christian Church in Noblesville and loved tending to the needs of others.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa (Richard) Kinder; sons, Richard (Darlene) Holloway and Jerry (Vickie) Holloway; siblings, Kenneth Holloway and Virginia Pickrell; half-sister, Christine Minch; grandchildren, Mandy (David) Boggs, Molly (Brent) Drummond, Darrell (Sharon) Holloway and Lucas and Joseph Kinder; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Drummond, Cheyenne Boggs and Austin, Andrew and Abigale Holloway.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Holloway; brother, Lawrence Holloway; sister, Marguerite Morris; and daughter-in-law, Susan Holloway.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 16 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 15 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. Online condolences may be made at www.randallroberts.com.
