Enjoy a special evening at the 6th annual Harvest Wine Tasting on the picturesque grounds of the Historic Ambassador House and Heritage Gardens on Saturday, September 6, from 7-10 p.m. This signature fundraising event for Fishers’ Historic Ambassador House brings residents closer to their community history in a setting of fine wine, elegant hors d’oeuvres and live music under the stars.
Considered “Fishers Finest Evening”, the Harvest Wine Tasting includes a silent auction featuring wonderful items donated by Fishers businesses and community organizations. Colts tickets, spa treatments, gift cards, trips and many other great items will be up for bid. All proceeds benefit the preservation and embellishment of the historic house and its beautiful gardens.
The Wine Guy at Grapevine Cottage in Fishers will supply 18 Wines for guests to sample from 7-9 p.m. Wine will also be available for purchase by the glass and by the bottle.
Chef Chris Liechti of Epicureans Catering will provide gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and La Torte Cakes and Pastries will cater delicious European-style desserts. Local artisan Brian Paffen of Herbal Art is generously giving away items from his organic line of skin care products to some lucky guests, and local musicians Matt Roush and Robert Coates will provide entertainment for the evening.
This year’s event features special activities on site including free painting sessions with the very popular Wine & Canvas. Take home your very own 8″ x 10″ work of art! Horse-drawn carriage rides around Heritage Park will also be available for $10 per person.

Tickets are $35 in advance online with Eventbrite. Log on to www.ambassadorhouse.org. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the event for $40. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
