Get your car washed at Carmel High School

0

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 16, Carmel motorists can get their car cleaned for a good cause.

The Carmel High School Show Choir, called the Ambassadors, will clean and polish your car all while entertaining you with the sweet sounds of their latest competition set.  In the years past, the talented vocalists turned expert car washers have de-grimed more than 200 cars in one day.  The singers will gladly wash anything and have done so, including RV’s, tow trucks, motorcycles and a fire truck.  The Saturday in August tradition has been a routine for well over 15 years.

The car wash will take place in the CHS west parking lot, and the best part is that it’s absolutely free. But, will the generosity of motorists, most year the car washers walk away with more than $3,000 in tips to help pay for costumes and competition costs.

Correction: At the Ambassadors show choir car wash, the singers will not be performing their competition set. Also, the event is not free. It will cost $10 per car washed.
