Students at Traders Point Christian Academy (TPCA) have read more than 145,000 minutes in a summer reading program sponsored by Scholastic Books, ranking the school no. 210 in the world.  TPCA Reading Club Coordinator Beth Herr and Librarian Lisa Mais have organized two parties to celebrate summer reading, complete with prize drawings, snacks, candy, and even a photo booth!

“Our school is committed to making sure all of our students come back to school prepared, and reading every day can truly make a difference,” Herr said. “Every minute our students read is strengthening his or her reading skills — and contributing to a new world record for summer reading!”
