Update: Investigators have now confirmed that the murder/suicide took place at the home of Shannon Hall’s parents, on Somerset Way South.
Update: It has now been confirmed that there were two adult witnesses at the scene of the crime. The parents of victim Shannon Hall, 40, were inside the home at the time of the shooting, along with the Halls’ two children, ages 8 and 10.
Shortly after 8 p.m. this evening, Carmel police found David Hall, 38, and his wife, Shannon Hall,40, dead from gunshot wounds inside their Somerset Way South home in Carmel.
According to CPD Chief Tim Green,it appears David shot his wife and then shot himself. Police are proceeding in their investigation as this incident being a murder-suicide.
At the time of the shooting, two children, ages 8 and 10, were inside the home.
