Fishers police arrest suspect in homicide in the Harrison Green neighborhood

Detectives have identified the victim, from last night, as Connor J. Shockley. Evidence gathered at the scene and witness accounts lead investigators to believe that the suspect, Corbin M. Montgomery, stabbed Shockley with a knife. Crime Scene Technicians have recovered the weapon believed to be used during the fight. This case continues to be an open investigation.

Corbin M. Montgomery is charged with Murder “A” Felony and Involuntary Manslaughter “C” Felony

Just before 11:00 pm last night the Hamilton County Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a fight at a home on Wooster Court (Harrison Parkway and Lantern Road). Fishers police officers quickly responded and found an injured male lying in the yard.  Paramedics from the Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services arrived shortly thereafter and provided medical attention to the victim. Unfortunately the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Police have one person in custody. Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Noblesville Police Department assisted. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.
