Fishers Elementary students will enjoy a visit from writer/director Drew Daywalt on April 18. Besides having a children’s picture book that charted No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller List, he has written and directed films for top studios. Daywalt will share his writing process with students in kindergarten and grades 1, 2 and 4 a week before they will unveil books they created as part of the Young Author Program.
