Letter: City planners should leave room for animals

After reading “Are Carmel’s coyotes cause for concern?” I think that we should not relocate the coyotes elsewhere. If everyone moves the coyotes somewhere else, there will be no “somewhere else” to move them to. The few fields and woods where they might be able to live in peace are being destroyed to make some shopping mall or store. I know that there is no stopping development, but us humans should look beyond our own selfish wants and set aside some land for our fellow living beings. We should live in harmony with animals. After all, we’re all in this together.
