Julia Evinger Files Candidacy for Boone County Commissioner

Evinger_2013_cropJulia Evinger has filed for Boone County Commissioner District 1.  She will be on the May 2014 Republican Primary ballot.

Evinger is vested in the communities’ financial and social wellbeing. She has raised her family, built her real estate business in Boone County.

Evinger has served with many local organizations including: Boone County Division of MIBOR, Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, Zionsville Education Foundation, Zionsville Band and Orchestra Patrons, Zionsville Show Choirs, Inc.

She serves as a Trustee for the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS®, (MIBOR) political action committee, a Trustee for the Indiana Association of REALTORS® political action committee, a MIBOR Director for District 6 serving Boone, Hamilton and Montgomery counties and is President elect for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Indianapolis Chapter. She is a 2013 Indiana Leadership Forum graduate and a 2012 Real Estate Academy of Leadership graduate.

Evinger has served as a GOP delegate to the 2012 state convention, worked as a poll clerk and volunteered for many campaigns including Governor Mitch Daniels re-election campaign, Congresswoman Susan Brooks campaign and other local races.

Evinger and her family have lived in Zionsville for over a decade.

“I love Boone county and know we can work together to make this an even more compelling community to call home,” she said.
