On Jan. 23, Thomas Diep was crowned Mr. Zionsville from a field of 12 ZCHS senior students. The contestants displayed their talents, and the show featured skits that other Zionsville seniors wrote and performed. Diep dedicated his performance to the senior class, started his act with stand-up comedy and then sang and played two songs he composed highlighting funny events that had happened throughout the year at ZCHS. The Mr. Zionsville contest was started years ago as a way for the senior class to come together in a safe drug/alcohol-free environment. Through the years, it has turned into a major fundraiser for the prom.
