Dan D. Palmer, 62, of Noblesville, died on Dec. 15, 2013. Born Jan. 23, 1951 in Peru, he was the son of Van and Mary Lou (Glassburn) Palmer.
He owned and operated Dan Palmer Insurance Agency for more than 30 years. He was a graduate of North Carolina University and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. He had a passion for life and the outdoors, and had hosted the ‘Dan Palmer Outdoor News’ show on Channel 19 for seven or eight years. He adored his grandson and loved spending time with him. He also enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Alaska.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Georgia Palmer; daughter, Danielle (Rick) Witt; sister, Linda Palmer; grandson, Chandler Witt; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 27 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, with the Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Visitation begins at noon.
