Artist Row Studios will host a holiday sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec.14 and then continuing during the Carmel Gallery Walk later that eveing.

The studio is offering mini-classes in earring making at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. People can make a pair of copper or brass disc earrings with sterling silver ear wires for yourself or as a gift for $10. Please reserve a spot by emailing [email protected].
Each class lasts a half hour or less and is limited to 10 students. It’s a great introduction to metalsmithing.
The studio is also featuring the work of Amani Children’s Foundation, Karen Law and Lorie Lee Andrews. Amani is a nonprofit, grass-roots organization that raises money for New Life Homes orphanages in Kenya. They fashion beautiful jewelry from ceramic beads made in Kenya and all proceeds go to help the children. Karen is a jewelry artist who has amazing seed bead bracelets, as well as other work. And Lorie Lee is a print-maker, bookmaker, who makes beautiful teeny tiny books with spiritual meaning.
