Eagle Honor Award

With winter break a few weeks away, the Zionsville Education Foundation (ZEF) has a gift idea that will honor ZCS teachers and staff while providing funds for classroom innovation: Eagle Honors

Giving an Eagle Honor is a great way to say “thank you” to a teacher, coach, bus driver, counselor, administrator, school secretary or anyone who has made the school year a success. With an Eagle Honor donation of $10 or more, a certificate with a personal message of thanks will be sent to the honoree(s), and your tax-deductible gift will fund grants to promote academic excellence in all Zionsville Community Schools.

“I am very honored and humbled to be recognized for an Eagle Honor Award,” said Matt Mybeck, fourth grade teacher at Pleasant View Elementary school and Eagle Honor recipient. “It excites me to know that money from the donation that was made in my name will be utilized in classrooms to help out the students of ZCS.”

The Zionsville Education Foundation’s mission is to serve its school community by providing funds that promote academic excellence. ZEF distributes funds to ZCS teachers, students and staff through Fall and Spring Classroom Grant cycles, Imagine/Professional Development Grants, Student Enrichment Grants and DonorsChoose.org matching grants.

The deadline for submitting an Eagle Honor to the ZEF office is Monday, December 16. All Eagle Honor requests received after that date will be delivered after Winter Break.
