A portion of River Road closed since June will once again allow for quick transit between Carmel and Noblesville.
The roadway was closed to complete a drainage project south of Prairie Trace Elementary School.
Libby Martin, a Carmel Public Works coordinator, said that barricades in the roadway have been removed.
She said that there will be some lane restrictions Oct. 14 through Oct. 17 as crews work to reseed the sides of the roadway, but that the road will remain open to traffic.
