The University of Wisconsin-Platteville introduced the 2013 homecoming court  this past week and Carmel’s Sydney Denstorff was named homecoming queen

Denstorff is a senior psychology and criminal justice major. After  graduation, she is planning to attend graduate school to study forensic  psychology.

Denstorff was a member of the Pioneer Dance Team for three years, but was  not able to this year because of her job with Residence Life. Denstorff is a  senior assistant for Dobson Hall and the National Residence Hall Honorary  vice-president. She has also worked for Prospective Student Services as a  peer advisor.

Denstorff wanted to represent, not only Dobson Hall, but the Department of  Residence Life.

“UW-Platteville is the first place I have ever really felt at home,”  Denstorff said.

She said she has taken every opportunity to get involved on campus and  homecoming court is another way to show her school spirit.
