White River Community Clean-up Day

Come join this community volunteer event to remove trash from the White River. You will be joining others from communities all the way from the headwaters of the White River in Randolph County down through Indianapolis in a watershed-wide event. The theme is simple: You can make a difference in our community and our water quality.

 

Who: Anyone willing to get wet and pull trash from the White River! (children should be accompanied by an adult)

When: September 14th, 2013 (Saturday) 8:30am to 1:30pm

Where: Renner’s Automotive at 8190 E. 146th Street

(NW Corner of 146th and the White River)

  • Lunch is provided
  • Plan to get dirty
  • Wear sturdy shoes and gloves 
  • Register on site the day of the event
  • Supplies provided (gloves, trashbags)
  • Limited # of canoes available
