Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County announces new board members

Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County announces the addition of four new board member to each serve three year terms. Shannon Arrendale, Chuck Layton, Sarah Randall, and Michael Rothenberger are the newest board members to join the mission of reducing hunger, improving health, and promoting independence in Hamilton County. Governed by volunteers, Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County receives no state or federal funding and relies solely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, fundraising events and grants to provide meal delivery to elderly, disabled and homebound residents, regardless of age or income. The community-minded direction of the board helps Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County continue to grow and gain awareness through valuable leadership and experience in healthcare and nonprofit management.

“The experience of our new board members have had a tremendous contribution in community outreach for the movement of driving compassion in Hamilton County with Meals on Wheels,” said Beth Gehlhausen, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County.
