R. Jeannette Meihsner, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 4, 2013. Jeannette was born December 6, 1920, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Bert and Lulu B. (Risley) St. Clair.

She graduated from John Heron Art Institute, with a degree in Art & Design and worked at L.S. Ayers in the advertising and graphics design department for 47 years.  She married Gene L. Meihsner, her high school sweetheart, on August 11, 1946. She is survived by her sister and brother-in law, Margaret H. (St. Clair) and Billy Povlin, two nephews, Jay S. Povlin and Dennis K. Wilcox.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Meihsner and her sister, Elsie I. (St. Clair) Boles.

A lifelong golf enthusiast and frequent traveler, Jeannette enjoyed her friends at Pebble Brook Country Club and traveling with friends throughout the world.  She was also a diehard Hoosier basketball, Colts, and Pacers fan.  She enjoyed fellowship at her church, Allisonville Christian Church, along with her winters spent in Waverly, Tennessee with her sister and brother-in-law, and her winter church of Waverly United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service will be Friday, June 14, at 2:00 pm, at the Allisonville Christian Church, 7701 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.  Calling hours will be at the church from 1:00 pm until time of service.  Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Allisonville Christian Church or Waverly United Methodist Church.   Condolences may be shared with family at www.leppertmortuary.com.
