Hamilton County Assessor Robin L. Ward was recently appointed president of the East Central District of the Indiana County Assessors Association. The appointment was made by past president Sharon Halcomb, Franklin County Assessor, Randolph County Assessor Beverly Fields and Rush County Assessor Mary Ann Bridges.
As president, Ward will represent the East Central District at Indiana County Assessors Association meetings. The ICAA is responsible for two assessor’s conferences each year where they provide continuing education for county/township employees with a Level I, Level II, and/or Level III Indiana Assessor-Appraiser Certificate, communicates with legislators on all assessment issues, and works closely with the Dept. of Local Government and Finance.
Before running for Hamilton County assessor in 2010, Ward was a three-term Noblesville Township assessor.
