State Sen. Mike Delph (R-Carmel) welcomed nine local student pages to the Statehouse last week, including two of his daughters.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

“This is the most pages I’ve had serve in one day, which shows me that our students are actively interested in their state’s government,” Delph said. “I really enjoy working with our pages. I hope to see more students get involved with this program and use this opportunity to learn more about government.”
