Spring brings big news

For one reason or another, Fishers is not messing around with giving me plenty of news to write about this spring.

It’s been hectic. It’s been crazy, and it’s been challenging.

Over the past few months, I’ve had some amazing interviews and stories to tell, and for that, I’m thankful.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:  Fishers has a lot of great stories to tell.

Coming up, we have the town’s new amphitheater starting its first season, and there is plenty planned to keep it hopping.

The referendum that will decide the future of expansion at Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School is quickly approaching, as well. Current has covered that story extensively, and more coverage is on its way. There is a lot at stake when it comes to the future of the Hamilton Southeastern School District and how Fishers’ kids learn.

There’s been more than that at stake since I started with Current.  When I took up the reigns, I thought I was walking into a typical news beat, but as the town vs. city referenda approached, it was evident I was wading into a news war zone.

I wouldn’t have it any other way.
