Zionsville Police Dept. reports (Feb. 4-19)

Feb. 4 – ZPD took an Identity theft report at 1075 Parkway Dr. The report has been forwarded to investigations for review.

Feb. 4 – Andrew Gilbert, 52, of Zionsville was arrested on a warrant out of Boone County.

Feb. 4 – ZPD was dispatched to a property damage motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, police determined the accident was property damage and that the vehicle that caused the damage had left the scene. A crash report and a case report were generated for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Feb. 6 – ZPD responded to a report of theft at a medical office building located at 55 Brendon Way.

Feb. 6 – ZPD initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver, Shannon Moore, 36, of Lafayette, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Feb. 8 – ZPD arrested Julia Burroughs, 43, of Westfield, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Feb. 9 – ZPD arrested Sharon Abbott, 65, of Indianapolis, for DWI-controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Feb. 13 – ZPD conducted a traffic stop located at U.S. 421 and Fox Trace Dr. After further investigations the driver was found to have a warrant out of Starke County, Indiana. Donald P. Frazier, 49, was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant and transported to Boone County Jail.

Feb. 14 – ZPD investigated a report of theft at 1120 Hickory Lane in Zionsville.

Feb. 19 – The Cicero Police Department made an arrest on  after the discovery of a marijuana grow operation in their town.  While investigating a truancy issue on Brown Street in Cicero, a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputy and a Hamilton Heights Schools official noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside a residence.  Cicero Police were called to the scene since the residence was within town limits.   A search warrant was obtained and after further investigation, several plants and equipment associated with a marijuana grow operation were discovered and seized.

Mark R. Kreutzer, age 24, was arrested and charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Felony Possession of Marijuana.  Cicero Police are continuing their investigation and further charges are possible.If you have further questions, please contact the Cicero Police Department as they are the primary agency on this case
