The Noblesville Chamber will hold its first Women Empowering Women Luncheon of 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 15 at Sagamore Golf Club, 10900 Golden Bear Way, Noblesville. Tickets are $18 for members and $22 for nonmembers. The event is sponsored by St.Vincent Health.
The topic will be Health, a Woman’s Way. A physician panel, led by Julie Schnieders, will answer participants’ questions about their health including prevention, treatment, and pathways to wellness.
Schnieders is a women’s health nurse practitioner with extensive experience in all areas of women’s health. She has a special interest in menopause and pelvic health including urinary incontinence and interstitial cystitis. Schnieders is a breast risk assessment consultant for the St.Vincent Breast Center.
“Julie spoke last year, and she was so popular. We knew we had to ask her back,” said Mary Noble, director of business development at the chamber.
This is the second year for the luncheon series, which was so popular the chamber wanted to bring back, Noble said.
“It’s something unique the Noblesville Chamber offers that other county chambers don’t,” she said.
While men can and do attend the luncheons, Noble said the series looked at a broad range of women’s issues.
“It’s a networking opportunity for women to get together and network with other local business women. You’ll learn something, but you’ll have fun too,” Noble said. “We’ve covered everything – financial issues, image and how to dress in the business world, women’s health and holiday stress.”
Noble said the first all-county women’s luncheon would be held in August at the Bridgewater Clubhouse.

Chamber waives fee for insurance agents
