State Sen. Luke Kenley (R-Noblesville) welcomed Westfield’s Payton Stanley from Saint Maria Goretti School to the Statehouse as a Senate page in January. Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.
“It is encouraging to see young people involved in the legislative process at the Statehouse,” Kenley said. “This program allows students to gain a better understanding of how Hoosiers are represented in Indianapolis.”
