Several individuals and a local business were honored at the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet in front of a record crowd on Friday January 25 at the Palomino Ballroom. The awards ceremony was hosted by Fox 59 News Anchor Ray Cortopassi.
On behalf of the Boone County Community Foundation, Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steve David, CFBC Board President, presented the Lionel Dubay Youth Sports Award to Greg Kirkham, a guidance counselor at Zionsville High School.
The Dahlia Excellence in Service Award was presented to Steve Carroll of the Boone Village Marsh Supermarket. The Dahlia recognizes a deserving employee of a Zionsville business.
TheCommunityServiceAwardwaspresentedtotheZ’BowlCommittee. Z’BowlCommittee members include Ellie Lee Brown, Ellen Butz, Kathy Sloan Wood and Valerie Robbins Swack. The Community Service Award recognizes the efforts of institutions or organizations toward the betterment and growth of the community.
The Town Crier was presented to Robert Goodman, owner of Robert Goodman Jewelers. The Town Crier recognizes those persons who made outstanding contributions to the town of Zionsville.
The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award was presented to Control Tech Heating and Cooling. The Business of the Year Award recognizes a company that demonstrates leadership, innovation, commitment and good corporate citizenship in the Zionsville area.
The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Business Professional of the Year Award was presented to Kelley Leix, Vice President of Business Banking for PNC Bank. The Business Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose performance, commitment and dedication to their profession is unparalleled
Zionsville Chamber of Commerce Emerging Professional of the Year was presented to Nathan Frampton, President of Fanimation. The Emerging Professional of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding young professional in the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce service area
In addition to the awards ceremony, Indiana State Representative Steve Braun provided the keynote speech for the evening.
