COM-WEB TaxesFree tax assistance – AARP is again offering free tax assistance. Representatives are in the Sumner Room every Friday now through April 4. You need to call 896-9391 ext. 117 to reserve a spot in advance, and appointments are available between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

 

COM-WEB Coyote WindMystery lovers wanted – The WWPL’s Mystery Book Discussion Group is talking about “Coyote Wind” by Peter Bowen, when they meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Come join other mystery lovers at a once-a-month discussion group that meets at the library. You are invited even if you haven’t read the book.

 

Hearts and arrows – Single? Been dumped? Or do you have someone special? Whatever the situation, teens are invited to an Un-Valentine Party at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Make cards (happy or sad), decorate heart cookies, have snacks, and play games. This will brighten up your day, no matter what.

 

Hang time – “Whatevah Time for Teens” is 2:30 p.m. Feb. 12 in the WWPL Craft Room. Spend the afternoon just hanging out, playing the Wii, eating snacks, talking or doing “whatevah.”

 

Take some tricks – Are you a euchre enthusiast looking for three other players? Then join in the fun when the WWPL Euchre Group meets at 5:30 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Come enjoy a relaxing evening of fun with some great people at this free program on Feb. 13.

 

Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon Club – The Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13. This is a great place to share or trade cards, and it’s free.
