The Community Foundation of Boone County is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Klusman as Interim Executive Director.  Jim is an organizational development consultant who served as Development Director and later President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette for 14 years before retiring in 2006.  Prior to joining the community foundation field, Jim was an active duty Air Force pilot for 26 years.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Jim’s expertise step into this role,” said CFBC Board President Steve David.  “As we consider the future of the foundation, engaging Jim’s service will allow us to take the proper time and care to determine the leadership skills that will best suit the organization.”

CFBC Board Vice-President Marc Applegate will chair the executive director search committee, with plans to appoint a new director by spring.  Mike Caldwell left the foundation at the end of 2012 after three and a half years as executive director and six years on the board of directors.
