Several Zionsville organizations are partnering with Butler University Athletics to organize a Zionsville Community Night on Jan. 26. The event will include a Butler University men’s basketball game against the Temple Owls. The Zionsville Community School Corporation, the Town of Zionsville and the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce will work together to market this exciting event. Representatives from each of these organizations will also present the game ball including Tim Haak – Zionsville Town Council President, Shari Alexander-Richey, Board of Trustees Member at Butler University, representing Zionsville Community Schools and Julie Johns-Cole – Executive Director, Zionsville Chamber of Commerce.
“Zionsville has long been a supporter of Butler athletics. Having a Zionsville Community Day gives the Town another opportunity to show our support. We are especially proud of Coach Brad Stevens and Andrew Smith, both originally from Zionsville, and the success that they have had at Butler,” said Zionsville Town Council President Tim Haak.
