If you’re looking to ditch the natural Christmas tree, the Town of Fishers is offering a recycling service until Feb. 1.
Take the tree to either Roy G. Holland Memorial Park (1 Park Dr.), Cumberland park (10580 Cumberland Rd.) or Brooks School Park (11780 Brooks School Rd.), according to a post from the town.
A fenced in area in the southeast corner of Holland Memorial Park is designated for drop off, while trees need to be dropped off in the east parking lot of Cumberland Park or the parking lot at Brooks School Park.
The town’s notice on the service said to remove anything that is not an actual part of the natural tree. If a wreath is dropped off, the town instructs to remove the wire before dropping it off.
