In order to really study birds up close, it is important to know how to use binoculars. We will work on basic binocular skills and then, if weather permits, we will put our new skills to the test with a bird walk near the nature center!  Free.

JANUARY 27           HIKING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND!

Sunday   2 p.m.

(All Ages)       There is nothing more exhilarating than a hike through the woods on a crisp winter day!  While the forests are dormant, you can really appreciate the hills, valleys, and streams that form a beautiful natural landscape.  In addition, leaf bare trees make it easier to spot wild animals.  Join us for this guided winter hike and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate back at the center.  The program is free and sponsored by the Friends of Zion Nature Center.
