School of Rock strongly believes that the best way to learn music is to play music, taking students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skills.  Students in the program also learn teamwork through jamming together with their fellow students regularly.  By taking the focus off the individual and creating a team dynamic, students enjoy a more supportive and motivating environment in which to learn.  The musical journey that students embark on when they enter the program starts with the beginner program  Rock 101, which teaches students key instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboard & vocals, while playing actual rock music and weekly sessions that help them understand the dynamics of playing in a group.   Intermediate to advanced students move on to the Performance Program, where students will learn harmonies and musicianship during weekly group sessions and performances in an authentic rock show environment during live performances at local venues.  For more seasoned students looking to take their music journey further, programs include songwriting and recording (Project Studio) and fine tuning the skills needed to create a band (Band Coaching).
