Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard has announced that Carmel City offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 26th and only essential city employees should report for work due to the blizzard expected to hit the area Wednesday. Snow plowing equipment will continue to keep main and secondary roads cleared as much as possible and after the majority of the snow has fallen will begin an all city plow.
The Hamilton County Government will be closed as well.
