I’m tired! I’m tired of the petty squabbling between current and former council members. I’m tired of the petty politics that the city council is awash in. I¹m tired of reading diatribes by former councilmen. You were voted out of office. Go quietly into the night. I’m tired of city council committees holding legislation hostage until they get what they want. Carmel is a great city. We have garnered national acclaim from many sources. We are proud of almost everything except the type “A” personalities who can’t seem to get the job done quietly and efficiently. Sure there are some problems. Not everything is perfect. But let’s recognize that and get to work solving issues instead of calling press conferences and issuing inflammatory statements.
