Finbloom story helped

0

Editor,

My family and I are new to Carmel this year. I have five children ages 4, 5, 11, 16 and 17. I received my first copy of your newspaper a couple days ago and read the article about Brett Finbloom. I can’t begin to understand what this family is going through, and I was heartbroken for them. My oldest child is a senior at Carmel and is on the football team and is just getting to know some of the kids here. I had him read the article and immediately I could see something shift with him about how dangerous this can get. He said that he had heard about this through school and everyone really loved Brett. We don’t know the family, but they are in our prayers. I know this article has opened my son’s eyes and made him more aware. This lifeline law will save lives.
