The Graham Rahal Foundation, PNC Bank and Trensy are teaming up to bring the first-ever Pasta Bowl to local football games this week. This Friday at the Brownsburg at Fishers, Jay County at Guerin Catholic, Terre Haute North at North Central and Avon at Zionsville High School football games, fans can donate pasta to Second Helpings, a not-for-profit that is all about preparing meals for those in need with overstocked prepared and perishable foods. For a school to win the very first PastaBowl trophy, its fans need to donate the most pasta by weight. On top of the overall competition, people donating can log their donation on the Trensy smartphone application to win other prizes. Donation boxes are available at each school for those that won’t be able to see it all happen under the lights on game night.
