Construction on one of the biggest features of the Nickel Plate District in downtown Fishers moves forward. The new amphitheater opens with an inaugural event on Oct. 13. A Beatles tribute band is scheduled to perform its national act, among other acts. The following week on Oct. 20, the Fishers Arts Council is partnering with a Youth Music Fest, according to the council’s president, Jocelyn Vare. The fest features high school student rock bands.
