Mother of six children, author and now creator of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Parent Program, Becky Cash is a busy lady. But, her desire to help other parents with children struggling with ASD has become her life’s passion.

“Autism is a journey that no family should have to walk alone,” Cash said. “Parents of children with ASD are often overwhelmed. They don’t know where to go to get the resources and services they need for their child. The ASD Parent Program provides families with one place where they can get access to the information they need to figure out the best course of action for their child and get them help faster.”

Cash has become a self-taught expert on the subject with four of her six children having medical and special needs, three of whom have ASD. She has learned firsthand how treatments can be effective and life-changing through her daughter, Faustina. At a young age she was developmentally challenged and could not walk or talk. But, through nutritional supplementation, occupational therapy and speech therapy, she has made tremendous progress.

Today, Faustina is beginning fifth grade at a private school and is performing at grade level.  This journey from “just barely coping to thriving” has inspired Cash to share this information with other parents with a one-stop online resource to support children with ASD.

“Being a parent of children on the autism spectrum, I provide parents with information that is easy to access and use, so they’re empowered to make a difference in their child’s life,” she said. Cash also has written a book, “Healing Autism Naturally,” which shares stories and treatment options available. Information on the ASD Parent Resource Program and Cash’s book can be found at www.ASDPerspectives.com.
