HANDS-ON MONARCH PROGRAM

Jane Diedrich, Boone County Master Gardener, will present this “hands-on” Monarch program at the Zion Nature Center located at 690 Beech St., Zionsville. This program is intended for children in grades K-5 wanting a close-up view ofMonarch caterpillars, chrysalides, and adult butterflies. Watch a caterpillar “snarf” some milkweed, see the beautiful “golden crown” of the chrysalis, and enjoy the elegant wings of the adult Monarch. We will even tag and release some adult butterflies.Program is free and sponsored by the Friends of Zion Nature Center.
