Methodist Hospital and the Indiana Poison Center are hosting a poison prevention workshop for families on Thursday.
The three-hour event, which begins at 12:30 p.m. at Methodist Hospital, is designed for anyone who is interested in injury prevention, enjoys talking to groups and can connect with parents and others involved in the care of young children.
As a way to promote poison safety through education about poison prevention and what to do in a poisoning emergency, upon completion of the clinic, you should be able to identify poison risks for children you may not have been aware of, think of ways to prevent poisoning and know what to do if a poisoning does occur.
